This book titled Creative Nonfiction was written as an answer to the need for a book in one of the contextualized subjects in senior high school, that is, Humanities, under the K-to-12 basic education curriculum. As the primary instructional material in Humanities for senior high school students, it was designed to enhance their communicative skills, particularly skills in writing nonfiction creatively. Geared toward outcome-based education (OBE), this book contains four units with corresponding oral and written activities and other related exercises. Using the communicative approach, this book is replete with activities that will help students develop to the fullest their skills in writing nonfiction creatively. The writer hopes that this book will not only facilitate the work of both the teachers and the students in the teaching-learning process but also serve these three functions - a skillbook in creative nonfiction, an OBE instructional material, and a K-to-12 educational tool.
